Pamela K. Skwish: Artist's Statement

I open myself spiritually to the energy which flows freely throughout the universe. That energy touches the inner depths of my being and allows me to create works of art. This spiritual energy flowing inside of me inspires and moves my pencil, pen, brush, sponges, paper, wax, and whatever the vehicles are at the time of expression.

All of the unique experiences throughout my lifetime are now culminating into my art. These experiences are bursting forth with an unbounded energy never thought possible, and are truly for me the work of divine inspirations.

My musical performances and teaching private piano lessons also enhance this energy. My music and art fertilize each other so that—I find myself painting with rhythms and watercoloring with sounds. Sometimes “art” is like juggling balls—a playful adventure.
